Kyle Visser: 1-1 from 3pt Range against Elon.
In Saturday, December 3rd's Wake Forest University victory over Elon University our main man, Kyle Visser, continued to dominate opponents with skill unseen in his previous seasons. He left the game with several minutes left while leading the team in assists, steals, and blocks with 3, 2, and 3 respectively. He added 13 points on 50% shooting. To end the game, The Viss displayed his soft, yet rarely seen, shooting touch by draining the first 3 point shot attempt of his career.
-"The bruising inside duo of Eric Williams and Kyle Visser combined for 27 points and 16 rebounds, and Visser added three of his team's 11 blocks. So far, Wake Forest's opponents are shooting only 37 percent, down from 44 percent a year ago."
-"The 6-11 Kyle Visser provided the exclamation point to this blowout with his first career 3-pointer. "
Kyle Visser gaining respect as powerful force in 2005...
-"A hard-working and fundamentally sound big man... runs the floor extremely
well for a player his size... owns a soft shooting touch around the basket...
has worked hard in the off season to improve his strength and conditioning...
needs to improve on defending without fouling... has potential to be an
outstanding shot-blocker... has scored in double figures eight times in his
two-year career including five times as a freshman in 2003-04... has 16 career
dunks to his credit... has drawn a charge on the defensive end a surprising 18
times... missed just one career game so far. "
